Usage Instructions
The Elastic Polyaspartic Polyurea Waterproof Topcoat can be used with epoxy primer for optimal waterproofing effects or on its own, provided that the substrate is dry. Attention should be paid to the following points during application:
1. Substrate Preparation: Ensure the substrate is solid, dry, and clean, free from dust, oil, and loose particles. For cracked substrates, repair should be done first, and corners should be rounded.
2. Mixing Evenly: Thoroughly stir the main agent in the container before use to ensure there are no sediments at the bottom. Mix the main agent and hardener in a 1:1 ratio, and after mixing evenly, proceed with application.
3. Coating Process:
o Flat Surface Application: Can be applied in one pass, and the coating thickness can be adjusted according to design requirements.
o Vertical Surface Application: To prevent dripping, it is recommended to first apply a thin layer on the substrate, and after about 5 minutes, proceed with a thicker application to achieve the desired thickness.
o Multi-layer Coating: If a second layer is needed, it is recommended to apply it within 3-5 hours after the first layer, ensuring the layer is not tacky but not fully cured yet. Avoid stepping on uncured layers.
4. Reference Dosage: The material usage is approximately 0.3kg/㎡-0.5kg/㎡, corresponding to a coating thickness of 0.2mm to 0.4mm.
